RETURN AND WARRANTY INFORMATION


Warranty Policy:

General:
All parts are warranted for 6 months from ship date to be suitable for full life expectancy in their proper installation and intended usage. Some consumable items may however be manufactured with specific expiration dates. This date will take precedence if it infringes on the six month rule.

Repairs, Rebuilt, Or Exchange Items:
Warranty is six months from ship date. Warranty on a repair covers only the originally repaired failure of the component.

Electrodes:
Warranties May Vary with Electrode Type. Please refer to package insert, or data sheets at www.peripheralvisions.com or contact your customer service representative for specific warranty terms and information. Electrode warranty claims/assistance will require the dated calibration/control printout from the analyzer in which it is installed. Electrode warranty is limited to use on instrumentation they are designed for.

For a product to qualify for warranty,
it must be returned for assessment in its original package, with no alterations, missing lot #’s or other reference numbers. Please contact technical support for an RMA form so that they can assign the required RMA number. For assistance please call 253 735-3910.


Return Policy:


Terms of Return: Please contact our technical support department and request an RMA form. Once we have receieved your completed RMA we will assign an RMA number. After you recieve the RMA number, you may ship the item(s) back to us. The following conditions apply.

IF YOU ARE RETURNING NON-DEFECTIVE ITEMS - CUSTOMER WILL PAY FREIGHT AND REFUND AMOUNT WILL BE DIMINISHED BASED UPON THE TIME ITEMS ARE IN CUSTOMERS POSSESSION. THE OFFICIAL POLICY OUTLINING THE ELIGIBLE REFUND AMOUNT IS LISTED IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. ITEM MUST BE RETURNED VIA TRACEABLE SHIPPING METHOD. ITEM(S) MUST BE UNUSED AND IN ORIGINAL UNOPENED PACKAGING. YOU CAN EXCHANGE NON DEFECTIVE RETURNS FOR DIFFERENT ITEMS AT FULL VALUE AS LONG AS THE ITEM YOU ARE RETURNING DOES NOT HAVE A DIMINISHED SHELF LIFE.

IF RETURNED ITEM TESTS GOOD AND IS NOT DEFECTIVE – TEST RESULTS WILL BE PROVIDED TO CUSTOMER. ITEM WILL BE RETURNED TO CUSTOMER ON THEIR SHIPPING ACCOUNT NUMBER OR BY PRE-PAYED FREIGHT. IF CUSTOMER REFUSES RETURN OR CANNOT BE REACHED WITHIN 30 DAYS, THE ITEM RETURNS TO OUR INVENTORY AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE PAID. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE $110 PER HOUR FOR DIAGNOSIS OF NON-DEFECTIVE PARTS.

IF RETURNED ITEM WAS MADE DEFECTIVE DUE TO IMPROPER USE OR INSTALLATION - WE WILL PROVIDE AN ESTIMATE ON REPAIR COST IF POSSIBLE. IF REPAIR IS NOT POSSIBLE, ITEM WILL BE DISCARDED OR RETURNED USING FREIGHT PRE-PAYED BY CUSTOMER - IF IT IS DETERMINED THAT ITEM FAILED AFTER NORMAL LIFE CYCLE, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED AND THE ITEM WILL BE DISCARDED.

The following table applies for refunds on restockable goods:
0-10 days from ship date - 80% of the original value will be refunded
11-20 days from ship date - 50%...
21-30 days from ship date - 30%
Over 30 days from shipment - 0%

The following items are non-returnable/refundable
Special Order Items - Will be noted at time of sale
Custom designed items manufactured exclusively for customer
OEM Items ordered for chemistry analyzers from the original manufacturer
Items ordered in very large quantities - Will be noted at the time of sale

Packaging and Items Damaged in Transit

All products are carefully packaged to insure transportation integrity. All shipments are insured (unless other agreements have been made in writing) against carrier damage. Damage or loss in transit is the responsibility of the carrier and not PVI. If any damage is noticed on receipt, it must be reported immediately to the carrier. and also to PVI for assistance in obtaining credit from the proper insurance carrier. Product must be left in original packaging so that carrier may inspect at their option. Please call customer service at (253) 735-3910 for assistance. Any product damage or shortages must be reported within 48 hours or claim cannot be accepted.

Service Parts Exchange Items
Due to the nature and intention of the exchange program, Exchange items do not qualify for return credit EXCEPT under the following circumstances:

1.100% credit will be issued if item is deemed to be defective (AS ORIGINALY SENT) by PVI engineering and quality control. This does not include any damage caused to an exchanged component by installing and running it with another analyzer problem adverse to the component.
2.50% credit will be issued if the item is returned within 7 days from ship date. Item must be unopened without any evidence of original seal broken, and verified by PVI engineering that component has not been transported without its sealed packaging or used in any way.

Service Parts Exchange Return Terms
A prominent label outlining the terms of exchange are adhered to each package to insure immediate notice by any entity or addressee receiving a service exchange product. It is agreed by ordering a service exchange part that all terms of transaction will be followed, and the proper return will be made within 15 days in order to receive the discount offered through this program. It is further understood that the full replacement cost will be billed and paid against the original P.O., if an exchange is not received.
When a service part exchange item is shipped, the package will include all instructions, and a prepaid return shipping label for the receiver’s convenience. Once the service part is removed from the package, it simply requires the service part it is replacing to be placed back in the package, and the provided shipping label attached for return.
